An exciting opportunity for a Homewares Product Developer to join a fast-moving team for a leading home textile company. This is a great opportunity for someone with a PD, Design or Buying background who is passionate about everything Homewares.

Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm

Responsibilities

* Building relationships with existing and new factories

* Liaising with customers and brainstorming products

* Analysing existing sales and looking for new trends

* Researching new product techniques and products

* Sourcing new qualities plains/semi-plains/jacquards/print bases

* Understanding the commercial market and conducting market analysis

* Feeding back strategies to the factory (seasonal, promo)

* Working with factories & design on new product ideas

* Setting up factory calls and tours

* Benchmarking

* Collating all cost information (prices, MOQ's, lead-times)

* Working with factories and Category Assistant on product development

* Cross costing

* Helping/supporting with factory issues

Key Skills

* Advanced excel skills required

* Ability to communicate with Customers and Suppliers on Teams calls and face to face meetings.

* Ability and the confidence to produce and present Power points internally and externally.

* Attention to detail is critical as dealing with large amounts of data.

* Understand the specification of the product in more detail to give you greater understanding on developing right products for the customer.

* Able to work on own initiative.

* Enjoys working as part of a wider team and likes to get stuck in.
