A Teacher of PE and General Cover is required for an excellent secondary school in the Sunderland area. You will deliver PE to KS3 and KS4. This role will be a maternity leave cover for four days per week, Monday to Thursday and will be due to start in January 2025. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The school are looking for an inspiring Teacher of PE, who has high levels of initiative and is motivated to work in a busy secondary school environment. The post holder will also provide general cover across the school.

The ideal Teacher of PE and General Cover candidate would:

* Have good classroom management skills

* Have a passion for teaching PE

* Have excellent subject knowledge

* Be able to organise themselves

* Be able to plan effective, engaging PE lessons.

We are keen to hear from both experienced teachers or ECTs.
