Role Overview:
As a Product FPGA Engineer, you will be a key player in our FPGA team, working on designing and delivering state-of-the-art FPGA-based systems. Your expertise will help shape our future products, ensuring the highest standards of performance and reliability in our inertial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and specification of FPGA blocks to meet product requirements Prepare detailed design documentation, including FPGA requirements, specifications, design descriptions, and test specifications Conduct FPGA verification work in the laboratory, including system integration and test activities Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide input into system architecture and design reviews Develop, simulate, and verify VHDL-based FPGA designs Provide schematic, PCB layout support, and participate in design reviews Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python) and programming languages (e.g., C/C++) for design environment development and laboratory test analysis Strong understanding of FPGA design flow, including Verification, Synthesis, Partitioning, Place & Route, Timing Closure, and Power Estimation Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C), memory technologies, and interface protocols Experience in electronic circuit and system design (analog, digital, and power) Knowledge of embedded systems and processor architectures Familiar with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and signal analyzers Proficient with tools such as SVN & Git Experience with VHDL and ECSS-Q-ST-60-02 standards is preferred Familiarity with ASIC and FPGA development for space projects is a plus Excellent communication, problem-solving, and hardware/system debugging skills Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage Why Join Us?
