CNC Miller – Setter/Operator

Permanent – Cheltenham – Evening Shift (4 Days) - Full-Time – Salary £16-25ph DOE

Are you looking to join a precision engineering company, manufacturing bespoke products for various industries, including, aerospace, defence, oil and gas sectors, and others, using core CNC machining facilities?

The role

·        First- off dimensional tests on new programs

·        Good Knowledge of Feeds and speeds when running CNC machines

·        In-process controls using manual devices – inspection (gauges/micrometres)

·        Active handling of CNC machines (error detection, problem solving, adjusting programme)

·        Setting/operating CNC mills. Run Mazak, Doosan, XYZ prototrak and others, previous experience not necessary.

The Person

·        Setting and operating experience of CNC Milling machinery.

·        Experience within a similar hi-tech, Subcontract environment.

·        Able to work accurately to deadlines.

·        An ability to read 1st and 3rd angle engineering drawings.

·        An enthusiastic team player with a can-do/flexible attitude

·        Continual process improvement attitude

·        Manual Milling experience – Desirable
