Are you a skilled Transport Planner looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our container truck operations.

Responsibilities:

• Effective route planning and operation of container trucks
• Experience working in container transport
• Previous transport experience
• Proficiency in TOPS
• Knowledge of driver's rules and regulations and WTD
• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent levels of commitment and motivation
• Work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to question, challenge, and improve upon existing processes

Requirements:

• Ensure adherence to Operator's License and driver's hours legislation
• Handle issues that arise impacting operations, including traffic delays, breakdowns, and accidents
• Manage drivers, including agency drivers and subcontractors
