Mechanical Design Engineer - Sheffield - up to £40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1892

I am currently hiring for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a key client of mine based near Sheffield. Salary up to £40,000 + Benefits.

They are a family-owned precision engineering company based in specialising in the manufacture of precision gears, gearboxes, and mechanical components. In addition to their own product ranges, they provide a comprehensive manufacturing service for customer-designed components with commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction drives everything they do.

They are currently seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team and play a key role in maintaining and improving all quality functions across the business.

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a key member of the technical team and report into the Technical Lead. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to progress and develop. You will be key in supporting designs working towards the manufacturing processes.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, or similar
• Experience with Manufacturing/Machining Processes
• Solidworks Experience

• Rotating Components/Gears/Power Transmission Systems
