Site Controller | £55,000 - £65,000 | Derby | Manufacturing | Hybrid Working (2 days from home)

As Site Controller, you'll be at the heart of the busy manufacturing site in Derby, where no two days are the same. Whether you're supporting on the month end, preparing cash flow forecasts or implementing new financial systems, this role offers a mix of hands-on accounting and strategic influence. If you're someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves to get into the detail while keeping an eye on the bigger picture, this could be the perfect fit.

What's Involved?

• Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Take ownership of the final stages of the group financial system implementation.
• Business partnering with site leaders to drive improvements in working capital management and cost control.
• Provide financial support to the site director and other senior teams across the organisation.
• Manage the 5-year planning process and quarterly forecasts, ensuring solid plans are in place to support the business' strategic goals.
• Oversee VAT returns, statutory accounts, and audits, ensuring compliance and timely submissions.
• Play a key role in continuous financial process improvement and reporting enhancements.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Ideally a Fully qualified accountant with strong experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems, ideally with system implementation experience.
• Proven ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, commercially focused mindset.

Package: up to £65,000 salary + Hybrid Working (3 days office, 2 days WFH)
