Location: Lancaster
Salary: £31,668 per annum / £14.50 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 8 pm to 8 am (two-week rolling rota)

Intrepid Global is recruiting for a Care Team Leader (Nights) to join a highly regarded care home in Lancaster. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to take on a leadership role, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for residents during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring smooth handovers and providing guidance

* Manage night rotas, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix

* Maintain clear and effective communication with the management team, addressing concerns promptly

* Conduct nightly team meetings, providing feedback and support to staff

* Oversee medication management, ensuring safe receipt and administration

What We're Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care

* Significant experience in a similar care setting, with a strong understanding of dementia and elderly care

* Proven leadership skills with experience supervising and appraising staff

* Knowledge of medication management and adherence to safety protocols
