Data Centre Shift Supervisor - £60,000 - Slough (Industry Leader)

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a global industry leader, managing one of their flagship accounts. Based in Slough, this key role offers a competitive salary of up to £60k plus an attractive benefits package

As Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that critical systems run smoothly and safely. You will be working in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring operational excellence in line with company standards

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a shift team to ensure the effective operation of the site

* Oversee critical HV systems, including switching, shutdowns, and scheduling of maintenance activities

* Ensure all safety protocols and operational procedures are strictly adhered to

* Manage team performance, providing guidance and training as needed

* Handle emergency situations and troubleshooting effectively

* Collaborate with senior management to drive continuous improvement initiatives

* Maintain excellent communication with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:

* Proven experience in High Voltage (HV) systems, including switching, shutdowns, and scheduling

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team

* Previous experience in a critical infrastructure or facilities management role is essential

* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines

* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
