MBA are excited to be working with a best-in-class insurance company, assisting their search for a talented Major Projects Surveyor. • Project manage a team to deliver large and complex reinstatement works following incidents such as fires and floods. Claims can typically range from around £100k to £1m+ in value
• Ensure all work is compliant with UK building regulations
• Be a technical referral point for insurance companies
• Assist with bids and business development activity
• Ad-hoc duties

Where possible, travel will be localised to the Yorkshire area usually covered by the successful Major Projects Surveyor. If there is a surge in claims and / or your assistance is required on other projects then you would be expected to travel further with the possibility of overnight stays.      About you   

• Proven broad experience as a successful Major Projects Surveyor
• Commercial awareness – good understanding of business principles and strategy
• Great communicator, both written and verbal
• Awareness of current building regulations
