Dynamic company are seeking an experienced and results-driven Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement operation. In this role, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, overseeing a small team and ensuring that procurement activities align with the company's goals for quality, cost, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with overall business objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive performance and innovation.
• Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities meet operational needs.
• Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
• Prepare and present procurement reports and strategies to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
• CIPS or MCIPS qualified if desirable.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of managing supplier relationships and achieving cost savings.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, analytics platforms).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

This role is based in the West Midlands and commutable from Birmingham, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Stafford and Worcester as the company operates a flexible working policy.
