We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) boys' school in Guildford from January. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a real difference in the lives of children who require tailored support to thrive in their education.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality primary education to a small class of boys with SEMH needs.
Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and ensure engagement.
Promote positive behavior and emotional development, working closely with the SENCO and other staff members.
Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally.
Support students' social and emotional well-being, helping them build resilience and confidence.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required. We are open to applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Experience or interest in working with children with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviors is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Passion for helping vulnerable students succeed, with a proactive and patient approach to teaching.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
