T&K Associates are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter / Part Programmer to join our Client on a permanent basis in Shepshed.

Due to expansion of the business, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to join a small friendly team that have some fantastic growth plans.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient set up, programming and operation of the CNC machines to produce high quality components.

CNC Setter/Part Programmer Job Details;
• £31,200 per annum
• Paid overtime available
• 40-hour working week - Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:45pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
• Annual bonus scheme

CNC Setter/Part Programmer Role & Responsibilities include;
• Set up and operate CNC machinery to manufacture components to specification
• Program CNC machines, creating and modifying part programs as required
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain production efficiency
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure quality and adherence to deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation for setups, programs, and quality checks
• Any other duties as required

CNC Setter/Part Programmer Person Specification;
• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator/Programmer
• Familiarity with XYZ machining centres is advantageous
• Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a team
