Events and Community Fundraising Manager

Location: Hybrid - North London office and home working
Salary: £35,000-£38,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week

A national charity providing vital emotional support to children and families during the most difficult times of their lives is seeking an experienced Fundraising & Events Lead to join their growing team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of events and community fundraising initiatives that directly contribute to life-changing services.

About the role:
You'll lead on developing and delivering a calendar of high-impact events and community fundraising campaigns. This is a strategic, hands-on role with scope to shape supporter engagement and income generation. Working closely with colleagues across fundraising, services and communications, you'll build meaningful relationships with donors and local communities, while ensuring events are delivered with compassion, professionalism and energy.

Key responsibilities include:

Delivering a varied and engaging programme of fundraising events

Growing community fundraising opportunities and supporter networks

Developing long-term relationships with donors and local partners

*

Managing budgets, tracking performance and driving income growth

*

Working collaboratively across departments to support organisational goals

About you:
You'll bring strong experience in fundraising (particularly events or community-based), excellent communication skills, and a real passion for purposeful work. You'll be comfortable working both strategically and operationally, able to manage multiple projects, and eager to create meaningful engagement with supporters and communities.
