Then join our client's innovative Physics department in Oxford as a MATLAB Prototype Developer, where you’ll collaborate with physicists and R&D teams to design and deploy cutting-edge algorithms for MRI data analysis.
About the Role
As a MATLAB Prototype Developer, you will develop and maintain tools that integrate advanced algorithms, enabling the rapid deployment of new innovations. These tools, primarily built in MATLAB, play a key role in supporting our solutions and driving advancements in technology and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain tools incorporating algorithms from R&D teams.
- Troubleshoot customer data and support data analysis applications.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including user manuals and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and R&D teams to plan prototype roadmaps.
- Provide support to cross-functional teams, including Software Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing.
- Deliver technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
About You
You are a detail-oriented developer with a passion for producing reliable, maintainable code. With a background in science and proven software development experience, you excel in maintaining complex systems and collaborating with diverse teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
- MSc, PhD, or equivalent experience in Physics, Maths, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive MATLAB programming experience, including building tools for team-wide adoption.
- Proficiency in software design, testing, and version source systems.
- Experience designing Graphic User Interfaces.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Bonus: Experience with Python and/or C/C++.
