Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market.??Our Consulting team has a major role to play in driving forward the growth of the firm with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue. At the heart of Consulting are the six solutions we offer our clients: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions create an enhanced tailored approach to support our clients in achieving their strategic goals and empower our people to make an impact and develop their own unique career path.

We are looking for a supervisor to join our accounting and financial Reporting team in Chelmsford to provide delivery and supervision of accountancy services to a range of clients, while always promoting the firm.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Ensuring jobs are completed to the highest standard and within agreed internal budgets
  • Working independently on assignments at client premises when required
  • Supervising junior team members, assisting with their day-to-day training and development
  • Preparing annual financial statements for a range of entity types, both in variety and size, including the preparation of financial statements for audit
  • Conducting analytical reviews incorporating variance analysis on all account’s preparations.

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified individual or someone with equivalent experience
  • Experience of working in an accountancy practice environment
  • Strong communicator with a proven experience of building strong client relationships at all levels
  • Can navigate various accounting and bookkeeping packages such as CCH, Sage and Xero
