Hourly Rate: £20.80

Day Shifts

Hours Per week: 36-42

Shift Times: 8:00-8:00

  • You must have a Registered Mental Health Qualification (RMN)
  • Valid UK NMC Pin

About the Nursing Home:

This Service is a purpose-built Care Centre, it has f our separate units specialisisng in Dementia, Continuing Care Mental Health, Acquired Brain Injury and Adult Complex Needs.
The team promotes service users' empowerment throughout the Centre by agreeing individual care plans and outcomes and ensuring a high level of involvement in determining and evaluating activities.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
  • Creating individualised care plans for residents.
  • Updating care plans daily.
  • Safely administering and recording of medication.
  • Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
  • Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
  • Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
  • Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
