Acoustic Consultant

My clients are seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join a leading independent consultancy that specialises in architectural and environmental acoustics. The role provides an opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in rural, urban, and industrial settings in the United Kingdom. The company is known for providing tailored mentoring and developing skilled professionals capable of managing challenges in various environments.

Requirements:

• A BSc or MSc in Acoustics or related fields such as Mathematics, Physics, or Music Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Proficient knowledge of British standards including BS4142, BS5228, BS8233, and BS16283.

Duties:

• Collaborate with architects, developers, engineers, and construction site managers throughout all project stages, ensuring effective communication.
• Conduct noise measurement assessments, sound insulation testing, and 3D noise modelling, followed by comprehensive report preparation.
• Use acoustical software such as ODEON, INSUL, Soundplan, and CaDnaA.
