Are you an inspiring and passionate Religious Education (RE) teacher looking for a new challenge? A lovely secondary school in the heart of Kensington is seeking an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis, with the potential for permanent employment depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Teach Religious Education across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons.
Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the curriculum.
Encourage critical thinking, reflection, and respectful discussions around world religions, ethics, and philosophy.
Support students in their personal development, fostering a love for learning and a deeper understanding of diverse beliefs.
Contribute to the wider school community, attending departmental meetings and working collaboratively with colleagues.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has relevant experience teaching RE at KS3 and KS4.
A strong understanding of the RE curriculum and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
Excellent classroom management skills and a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
A passion for promoting critical thinking, tolerance, and respect for different cultures and religions.
A proactive and flexible approach to teaching, with a desire to contribute to the school's success.
