The Role:
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a school in Wigan. You will play a vital role in assisting the classroom teacher with day-to-day activities, providing tailored support to students, and ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons.
Assist individual students or small groups of students with their learning needs.
Help with the preparation of resources and classroom setup.
Support children's personal development and well-being.
Monitor and record student's progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
Promote an inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.
Assist with behaviour management and ensure the safety of students in line with school policies.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant is highly desirable.
A strong understanding of child development and how to support learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A positive, caring, and patient attitude toward children.
