Job Role: Decorating Contracts Manager             

Area: Kent & London

Salary: £60k - £75k

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Decorating Contractor to join their team. As a Decorating Contractor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality painting and decorating services to our clients in the Kent and London area. You will work closely with the team and clients to ensure that all decorating projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim, using a variety of tools and techniques.
• Apply wallpaper, vinyl, and other decorative finishes to surfaces as required.
• Ensure proper surface preparation, including filling holes, sanding, and priming, to achieve a smooth and professional finish.
• Collaborate with the team and clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Provide accurate cost estimates for materials and labour.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in painting and decorating techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Previous experience in the decorating industry
• Extensive network of labour
• Strong contract management skills
• Experience in managing client relationships
