Job Title: Electrical Chargehand

Location: Shrewsbury

Salary:£26 per hour CIS

Contract: 12 months

We are seeking a Electrical Chargehand to join our client team. As an Electrical Chargehand, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical installations and leading a team of electricians. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the successful completion of projects and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and lead a team of electricians, providing guidance and support throughout electrical installations.
Coordinate with project managers and other trades to ensure smooth work flow and timely completion of projects.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.
Mentor and train junior electricians, promoting their professional growth and development.Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Chargehand or similar role in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and plans.
Valid electrical certifications and licenses.Qualifications:

JIB gold card approved electrician.
2391 inspection and testing
18th edition wiring regs
