New Forest District Council are on a journey of Digital Transformation to support our Future New Forest strategy which sets out how we will transform the council to meet our customer needs, protect finances and embed sustainability.
The introduction of new and enhanced digital systems through Digital Transformation will play a pivotal role in improving our customer experience and reducing manual effort through the better use of technology and modern service design.
We’re looking for enthusiastic and motivated technology professionals to join the team and help support the delivery of an exciting and ambitious digital work programme. You will be a talented, forward-thinking professional who can blend technical expertise with a deep understanding of our business needs using proven technical skills across cloud and on-premises software platforms.
As a permanent ICT Senior Analyst (Applications), you will lead on the technical design and implementation of brand-new modern digital systems to include design, project delivery and ongoing enhancement. You will shape these important new systems by aligning optimised processes with the best fit technical solution, configure and implement the new system to technical best practice and support the platforms in the future as part of our team of 2nd / 3rd line technical analysts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with and grow alongside a platform, plus additional systems, that will underpin our services in the future.
You’ll be joining a team who are playing a pivotal role in helping our services with their digital transformation through the technical delivery and support of a variety of modern software platforms.
Working in a friendly and supportive team, we offer flexible hybrid working with a mixture of remote and on-site attendance to meet the demands of the projects.

You will work with stakeholders in ICT and various areas of the Council to support the delivery of projects and introduce digital change including:
- Support our Digital Transformation programme and projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Lead the support, enhancement, development and implementation of assigned NFDC applications, providing expert technical advice to the Council.
- Ensure professional, right first-time delivery of technical support and development services.
- Work closely with all ICT teams to continuously support and improve applications through proactive planned activities and reactive requests.
