Document Controller (Major Infrastructure Scheme)

Location: Long ItchingtonSalary: £35,000 per annum

Are you a Document Controller ready to take on a larger project or more interesting work? Or a Document Controller with a year's experience looking to progress?

We're recruiting on behalf of an infrastructure subcontractor who has been supplying the industry for over 50 years. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of one of the UK's largest infrastructure developments, based at the Long Itchington site.

This client is open to candidates with a year's experience in a Document Controller role or similar, as they are happy to train/ mentor the right motivated candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain project documentation in accordance with HS2 and contractor standards
  • Ensure all documents are up to date, version-controlled, and distributed correctly
  • Support the wider team with document queries and ensure smooth document workflows
  • Use document control systems (such as Asite, Aconex, or similar) to track and manage documentation
  • Liaise with engineers, site teams, and external stakeholders to maintain accurate records
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in an Admin/ Document Control role or similar.
  • Strong working knowledge of common document management systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple teams in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive attitude and solid communication skills
