Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Colchester

Are you an aspiring Quantity Surveyor with experience in the drywall, ceilings, or partitioning sector? We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to expand their team with an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to be based in their Colchester office.

About the Role:
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will work closely with the senior surveyor to support a range of key activities, including cost estimation, procurement, and project cost management. You'll assist with the preparation of tenders, help track budgets, and ensure projects are delivered within financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in tender preparation, cost estimation, and contract management.

* Support procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.

* Monitor project costs and assist in managing budgets.

* Maintain communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience in the drywall, ceilings, or partitioning sector is highly beneficial.
