Job Title: Planning Manager

Location: Halifax Area

Salary: c.£45,000

Site based 5 days/week

Role Overview

You will be responsible for the planning of production and inventory management for this high-volume manufacturing organisation. Working closely with production, sales and procurement colleagues at site, and across other international sites, you will develop the production and inventory schedule, ensuring OTIF, maximised productivity, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Responsible for the planning and scheduling function
Owning flow of product from supplier to customer
Ensuring supply to customers
Ensuring quality and safety
Identifying and implementing improved process and automation of planning systemsRequirements

Previous experience of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management in a high-volume manufacturing environment
Analytical with a high degree of accuracy
Excellent communication, liaison, and influencing skills at all levels
Enthusiastic, continuous improvement lead approach
