Job Description:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join one of our client Primary Behaviour Provisions based in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity to work with students who require additional support in managing their behaviour and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with challenging behaviour.
Implement behaviour management strategies and personalized support plans.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and parents/guardians.
Foster positive relationships with students to build trust and confidence.
Support the emotional and social development of students through mentoring and guidance.
Assist in the development of individual educational plans (IEPs) as needed.
Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behaviour challenges.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are desirable but not essential.
