The position is a consequence of extraordinary growth that will see the organisation continue their impressive journey and head toward a likely IPO over the next 12 months.The Financial Controller will play a key role in the central finance team, reporting to the Finance Director and helping him create a best-in-class finance function. The role will hold typical FC duties, with a particular focus around leading and developing a small finance team.The role will ideally suit a strong Financial Controller looking to join a business going through a growth journey. • Oversee accurate and timely management of all management reporting to support business stakeholders.
• Oversee the month end process.
• Lead and develop a small finance time.
• Ensure compliance with all appropriate standards and regulations.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial statements.
• Review all accounting processes and seek improvements where necessary to ensure an efficient finance function.

Person Specification:

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified Accountant, currently holding a similar Financial Controller role.
• Excellent experience of development processes and controls.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
• Strong problem solving.
• Advanced IT skills.
• Experience working in e-commerce is advantageous.
