The Western Learning Federation are looking to appoint an innovative Assistant Head of School for Woodlands school. 

The role will be to support the Executive leadership team and Head of School by leading in its continued efforts to ensure excellence in the quality of the provision and the learning and wellbeing outcomes for all pupils. Candidates will need to demonstrate a clear understanding of the opportunities that will help shape our educational provision. In addition to this, it is also a very exciting time for Western Learning Federation and Woodlands as we embark on our move to a new state of the art building and expand our number on pupil roll. Our offsite provision and College opportunities are a positive addition to our current offer for our pupils. The exposure to sports activities and qualifications from working with a range of projects are bringing a real sense of purpose for our pupils. We are continually looking for new opportunities of working with external partners to ensure the ‘Learning for Living’ Curriculum is achieved in Woodlands.

Woodlands School supports pupils aged 11-19 with a variety of additional learning needs including speech, communication and language difficulties, autistic spectrum condition, severe learning difficulties and physical and medical needs. Woodlands school is a caring and nurturing community that provides valuable care support and guidance for its pupils.
