Our client, a well-respected player in the Supply Chain & Logistics industry, offering a number of specialist services such as freight forwarding, customs clearance and warehousing, are looking to recruit a Key Account Coordinator to be based fully remote from home office.

This is a 12 month maternity cover contract.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To assist the Key Account Manager with the commercial relationship with an existing large blue-chip client. Proactively maintaining a consistent high level of service delivery. Maintaining the revenue and gross profit, ensuring they remain profitable in line with annual targets, exhausting all additional revenue streams opportunities. Assist the Key Account Manager with implementation of any new services. Working with the client to ensure the service requirements are understood and implemented in line with client expectations

Duties and Responsibilities of the Key Account Co-ordinator:

  • Daily planning of customer’s PO’s , consol and full vendor loads stock planning
  • Trailer planning and forecasting in order to ensure economic benefit
  • Daily checks for new bookings on in-house IT system
  • Communication with planning department, head office and overseas partners
  • High volumes of data entry on in-house IT systems & Excel
  • Completing all operational activities accurately in line with the agreed SLAs
  • Supporting partners with bookings and operational queries
  • Maintain excellent customer and inter-departmental relationships at all times
  • Providing ad-hoc reporting to the customer

To Be Considered:

  • Logistics/Supply Chain/Transport Management degree or relevant experience in the field
  • Strong IT skills including MS office suite
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
  • Capability to work to strict deadlines
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Methodical and organised
  • High attention to detail
  • To have experience of successful liaisons with both customers and suppliers
  • Results orientated
  • Financial awareness
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work alone and in a team
  • Able to plan and prioritise as required
