We are seeking a dedicated SEN TA to join a thriving primary school in Hackney. Application Requirements: To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs or similar challenges.
• A solid understanding of strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behavior.
• The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Flexibility, patience, and a positive attitude to adapt to varying needs and situations.
• A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum.
• Implement tailored interventions to promote emotional resilience and positive behavior.
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupils' individual education plans (IEPs).
• Assist in developing and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents as required.
