About the role:

This full-time role is pivotal in supporting our students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You'll join a dedicated team committed to providing tailored support and interventions, ensuring every student thrives academically and emotionally.

Whether you're a seasoned SEN TA or embarking on your career in education, this role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference. You will work closely with small groups or individual students, aiding their educational and social development in a nurturing classroom environment. Class sizes are intimate, ensuring personalised attention and impactful support.

• Experience or strong interest in supporting students with SEMH needs.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to student welfare.

• Relevant qualifications are beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implementing personalised learning plans under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff.

• Supporting students in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour management techniques.

• Liaising with parents, carers, and external agencies to foster a holistic approach to student support.

• Facilitating and supporting inclusive activities and therapies that promote social and emotional well-being among students with SEMH needs.
