Religious Education Teacher - Secondary - Merseyside

Support students in exploring belief, identity, and ethics.

Pay: £130 - £190 per day (depending on experience)
Location: Secondary schools across Merseyside
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier for the right candidate)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term (potential for permanent)
DBS Check: Enhanced

We are looking for an RE Teacher who can create an open, respectful environment where pupils can explore religion, philosophy, and morality. You'll help students ask big questions and understand the beliefs that shape cultures and communities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach RE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)
• Deliver lessons covering world religions, ethics, and philosophical thinking
• Create a safe space for respectful discussion and exploration of beliefs
• Mark and assess in line with school policies
• Contribute to whole-school values, PSHE, and SMSC provision
• Work as part of a supportive Humanities team
