We are excited to support a global manufacturing leader as they search for a Lead Maintenance Engineer.

Job Purpose:

• Lead a team of shift engineers to ensure optimal plant operation and maximize plant availability.
• Manage Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), including reviewing and adjusting schedules for relevance, criticality, and timely completion.
• Analyse and report CMMS data to drive continuous improvement and enhance equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate records within the site maintenance system.
• Perform root cause analysis to address operational issues and improve plant performance.
• Oversee equipment calibration to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Support the delivery of CAPEX projects to enhance plant infrastructure and performance.
• Manage external contractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.

Ideal Candidate:

• A time-served Multi-Skilled Engineer qualification, with an HNC, HND, or equivalent.
• Expertise in working within classified hazardous areas and with ATEX equipment, with a CompEx Ex 05 - 06 or equivalent certification being a distinct advantage.
• Experience in manufacturing environments, particularly with automated raw material feed systems, auto weighing, bagging lines, LEV, packaging, and palletising equipment.
• A high level of competency with PLCs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• A 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certificate (preferred).
• Previous training in Fabrication, Welding, FLT, IPAF, PASMA, IOSH, WAH, NEBOSH, confined space, and abrasive wheels.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team and manage external contractors.
