About the Role

The Hygiene Factory Shift Manager (Nights) will lead a team of 40 operatives, overseeing hygiene operations and ensuring the site meets food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the night shift hygiene team (40 operatives)
Ensure cleaning tasks meet safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards
Conduct audits and monitor team performance to maintain cleanliness
Provide hands-on leadership, ensuring safe working practices and high standards of cleanliness
Collaborate with the Night Hygiene Manager to resolve any issues promptly

About You

This role is perfect for a dynamic, hands-on manager with experience in high-pressure environments and a strong background in hygiene and cleaning operations.

Key Skills

Proven experience in managing teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of hygiene practices and cleaning technologies
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to handle complex operations and maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety
Level 3 Food Safety and Level 3 Health & Safety qualifications are desirable but not essential

Working Hours

6pm - 5am, 7-day fortnight
Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
