I am actively recruiting a senior accountant for a Manufacturing business in Lancashire. The role is based on site one of their manufacturing sites in the UK, near Accrington, but will provide local and group support, annual TO of 100m with multiple sites globally. They have an experienced finance team, that has recently been restructured, with multiple ongoing projects to create more robust reporting derived from the finance team.

Local support will involve getting stuck in to process improvements such as standardising the FS packs for all entities, balance sheet and cashflow modelling and improvements to automate and support variance analysis. Support to the group will involve supporting the Group FD with strategic project work such as monthly reporting of the group to track performance against budget, reviewing the sales reporting and create dashboards for the exec team, along with support in merging entities for a leaner account reporting structure.

The day rate is negotiable depending on the support you can provide, depending on experience.

The contract initially is for circa 6 months, but likely to be extended depending on the ongoing projects.

You must have a strong manufacturing background to be considered, qualified, and be committed to the contract nature. Immediate start required and you must be able to work on site.
