Registered Mental Health Nurse

Hourly Rate: £20-£22

Day or Night Shifts

40 hours per week

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification and a valid UK NMC Pin
  • Proven experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with individuals with complex mental health conditions and dementia
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with service users and their families
  • The capability to remain calm and responsive in challenging situations, demonstrating empathy and understanding

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized nursing care plans for individuals with complex mental health conditions and dementia
  • Administering medications, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring holistic care to meet the diverse needs of the service users
  • Providing valuable support and education to service users and their families, playing a key role in promoting mental health awareness and overall well-being
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as necessary to optimize the quality of care
  • Acting as a strong advocate for the rights and needs of individuals facing mental health challenges, fostering a culture of empowerment and understanding
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care and support to service users
