We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Registered Manager to join our dedicated team in Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop a Independent Fostering Agency (IFA), ensuring we provide the highest quality service to children and young people.
Your Role:
As Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the IFA. You'll ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, drive business growth, and cultivate a culture of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practice guidelines.
- Business Growth: Drive commercial performance and profitability through effective management and marketing strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead, recruit, and develop a high-performing team of social workers and support staff.
- Fostering Excellence: Oversee the recruitment, assessment, approval, training, supervision, and review of foster carers.
- Service Development: Develop and implement service delivery plans, contributing to business growth and the delivery of high-quality therapeutic fostering services.
- Ofsted Standards: Ensure adherence to National Minimum Standards for Fostering Services and the Children Act 1989 Guidance and Regulations.
- Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with legislative requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- Essential Qualifications:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services (Children and Young People's Residential Management Pathway) or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this.
- Recognised Social Work Qualification (Degree/Diploma).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience: Proven experience in safeguarding children and young people.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, management, and strategic planning skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of fostering regulations and best practices.
- Business Acumen: Ability to drive business growth and profitability.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
