A highly successful International firm with a large presence in Newcastle are seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant to join (part or fully qualified AAT) their accounts trusts and tax team supporting them with a portfolio of clients requiring trust accounts and tax returns.

The firm pride themselves on a high standard of delivery and look to appoint similar like-minded individuals who are focused upon client service, enjoy an element of account management with their portfolio and have an eye for numbers.

Previous experience of working in trusts is not required and full training can be provided in this area of specialism, which is a rare opportunity available to break into what is an interesting and diverse specialist field. What you will be familiar with is bank reconciliations, processing electronic payments, ensuring engagement letters are in place for your clients, fees agree and billed accordingly. Training can be provided on the trust accounts and preparation of tax returns if previous experience has not been gained.

In time you will gain further experience, both in terms of technical accounting, tax and client management and progression and reward is readily available in recognition for achievement.

• We are looking for An Accounts Assistant with a minimum of 2 years’ working experience in an accountancy practice.
• Applicants must have knowledge of a range of accounts formats, processes and procedures, working both manually and with relevant systems including CCH.
• Applicants must have a right to work in the UK without sponsorship required.
