Our client, based in Middlesbrough, is experiencing significant growth in both workload and workforce. As part of this expansion, they are seeking a highly skilled Plater to join their fabrication workshop. The company specializes in subsea pipework, and the role involves working with large pipework pieces to very small tolerances of 1/3 mm.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop layouts and jigs

Marking out and setting up fabrications

Marking pipework style fabrications for weld preparation and welding

Work with welding team for tacking and welding duties

Quality inspection with Faro Arm (Training given)

Working Hours:

38-hour work weeks

Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Overtime paid at 1.5x during weekdays and the first 4 hours on Saturday

Double time for over 4 hours on Saturday and all hours on Sunday

Compensation:

Starting rate: £18.14 per hour

Potential to achieve £20.40 per hour through a skills matrix

Immediate start at £20.40 per hour for candidates meeting the skills matrix criteria
