Reed Finance are currently supporting an established client in the West Sussex area in the recruitment of a Finance Director to oversee the operation of their International Finance Team & Functions. This role involves overall responsibility for the preparation and accuracy of monthly accounting and financial statements, budgets/forecasts, annual accounts, audits, and the development and improvement of accounting systems and processes.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Ensure the integrity of company controls and that balance sheet accounts are accurate and properly supported with adequate documentation.
• Manage tax compliance for all international legal entities.
• Manage cash flows and international treasury functions, in conjunction with Group treasury.
• Make recommendations concerning business operations to improve performance.
• Review trends in financial performance of the business that may require management action and alert relevant director/manager.
• Strategic planning with Senior Leadership Team, delivering financial strategies to support growth and operational objectives.
• Supervise Financial Controller in the production of monthly accounting.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.
• Ongoing development of new ERP system and effective roll out.
• Oversee tax filings for all international jurisdictions.
• Complete audits and annual accounts on a timely basis.
• Control of expenditure within agreed budgets.
• Participate in special projects

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA.
• An eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in MS Office and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with ERP systems - MS Dynamics is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt and think outside of the usual finance role.
