Our client is a dynamic and growing insurance company, seeking a HR Business Partner to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Here's your chance to shape the people strategy, drive positive change, and contribute to their continued success.

  • Location: With offices across the south, including a major hub in the north, they're well-positioned for growth.
  • Leadership: Their HR Director has been instrumental in building the HR function. Now, they're expanding further, and they need your expertise.

The role:

  • Hybrid Work Model: You'll work remotely 3 days a week and travel to sites approximately 2 days a week. Flexibility is key, as travel can happen at a moment's notice.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Dive into hands-on work, focusing on employee relations, performance management, and people-related issues
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Help them attract and onboard top talent.
  • Wellbeing and Engagement: Drive HR initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
  • Management Development: Work closely with the HRD to create a robust management development program.
  • Succession Planning and Training: Ensure they're nurturing their long-standing employees and managers.
  • TUPEs and HR Projects: Support the HRD as they grow and evolve.
  • Data Utilisation: Leverage data to drive improvements.
  • Policy Review: Keep their policies up-to-date and aligned with their core values.

Requirements:

  • Experience: You've been in HR for at least 5 years at Senior Advisory level, handling ER, recruitment, and more.
  • Flexibility: Travel-ready and adaptable - you'll be their go-to person.
  • Sector: While open-minded, experience in regulated environments is a plus.
  • DBS Check: Required.

Compensation:

  • Salary: up to 55k
  • Car Allowance: £300/month (own car needed).
  • Benefits: 6% employer pension contribution, private healthcare (AXA), a cycle-to-work scheme, and 26 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
  • Hours: Typically, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, but they value flexibility, especially during travel.
