Altum Consulting are pleased to be supporting a household name in the property industry to hire an FP&A Analyst to join their thriving EMEA finance function. The role has arisen because of recently growth in the division and will support the FP&A Manager in the monthly, interim, and year-end reporting, as well as the quarterly forecasting and yearly budgeting process. The FP&A Analyst will also assist the EMEA FP&A Managers in partnering with our European offices, business line leaders, in the reporting and analysis for the region, and in various initiatives across the finance team.

Key Responsibilities,

  • Provide In-depth analysis of the countries' reported monthly actuals, quarterly forecast and annual budget financial reporting (including additional deliverables)
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, interim, and year end consolidated reporting to Group.
  • Oversee the work-in-progress/pipeline reporting, including the monthly consolidation of the reports, and analysis and tracking of the pipeline against forecast
  • Contribution to the production of financial sections of presentations to be delivered by the CFO/FC/FP&A Managers at meetings/committees
  • Coordination with Finance teams across Europe to facilitate the timely and accurate production of financial information.
  • Participate in and contribute to a dynamic and energetic team culture - proactively supporting the Central European team and wider European business
  • Ad hoc analysis and projects e.g. detailed review of loss-making teams

Requirements,

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Real Estate sector experience desirable
  • High standard of Excel and PowerPoint based financial reporting skills.
  • Experience or exposure to a large-scale consolidation and reporting system is highly desirable - particularly with Hyperion (Oracle financial reporting system), IBM Planning Analytics, and Microsoft Dynamics D365
  • Expertise in financial reporting and analysis, providing commercially focused insight/analysis
