Description

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for the following:

• Leading on the forecast modelling, reporting and treasury forecasting/operations.
• Providing a key link between the regional financial planning and corporate modelling team.
• The finance analyst will proactively drive value through collaboration with the FP&A Manager and the wider finance function.
• Preparation and Maintenance of cashflow modelling, ensuring key cashflow drivers are updated, identifying risks and providing analysis and recommendations
• Provide analysis of forecast drivers, linking to historical performance as well as scenario modelling
• Ownership of KPI drivers, including support for external reporting of commercial and KPI information
• Maintenance and development of internal financial forecasting tools (financial and non-financial datasets)
• Assist in ad hoc budgeting, forecast and strategy requirements

Profile

The successful Finance Analyst should have:

• Professional finance qualification - ACA/ACCA/CIMA or QBE
• Strong to advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of building and working with large data sets, and manipulation of data
• Experience within any sector ideal but financial services/business services/investment is ideal
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

More broadly this position would suit either a candidate coming from practice with strong analytical experience or an industry-trained management accountant/Analyst looking for a more commercial role

Job Offer

• An estimated salary range of £45,000 - £50,000
