SEN Teaching Assistant | Behaviour Support | £80-£100 Per Day | Enfield, North London

Do you have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour? Are you looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact on pupils' development? Reeson Education is seeking a confident and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a large, inclusive primary school in Enfield, supporting pupils with behavioural needs, SEMH, and ASD.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a graduate with a psychology or education background, looking to develop hands-on experience in behaviour support.

The Role:

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Behaviour Support).
Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience.
Location: Enfield, North London.
Start Date: Immediate.As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, ensuring they remain engaged in lessons and develop positive social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 behaviour support to pupils in a classroom setting.
Implement positive reinforcement strategies to manage challenging behaviour.
Use structured routines and de-escalation techniques to create a calm learning environment.
Support pupils in developing emotional regulation and coping strategies.
Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and pastoral team to implement behaviour plans.

What We're Looking For:

Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or Pastoral Support Worker.
A patient, empathetic, and strong-willed approach to managing behaviour.
Understanding of SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or trauma-informed practice.
Confidence in implementing behaviour support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
A commitment to inclusive education and helping every child succeed.
