Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a thriving SEN school in New Ash Green, Kent. Responsibilities of an SEN Teaching Assistant:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Assist the class teacher in managing the learning environment
Support students with their emotional and behavioural needs
Adapt learning materials to suit the needs of individual pupils
Encourage social interaction and engagement during lessons
Help with personal care tasks when required
Collaborate with the SEN team to create a supportive learning atmosphere
Requirements for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:

Experience working with children with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
Passion for working with children and a desire to make a difference in their lives.
Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with autism.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
