Job Title: Estimator/Bid Manager
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Are you an experienced construction estimator with a background in glazing projects?
Would you like to work for a family run business operating in the UK & Europe?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family run business who are operating within the structural steel market. Due to growth, they are seeking to employ an experienced estimator with a background in estimating structural steel projects across the commercial sector. You will be working alongside an already established team to provide accurate & detailed quotations to a tier 1 contractor client base.

Responsibilities as an estimator:

Building new relationships with main contractor clients to ensure you will be on upcoming tender lists
Prepare detailed & high quality quotations
Negotiation of terms with clients
Identifying any new leads, using market data and prospecting tools
Reading from design drawings to produce take offs to a high standardWe would welcome conversations with estimators who:

Have a background in estimating structural steel
Possess a good understanding of the contractual process
Are able to read from architectural drawings
Can communicate across internal teams and external clients
