Production Manager

Monday - Friday - 8am to 4pm

£45,000 to £50,000DOE

My client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join their team.

Production Manager Requirements:

Experience of managing direct reports
Background in manufacturing, chemicals (preferred)
5s and lean manufacturing experience and knowledge
NEBOSH or IOSH qualified

Production Manager Duties:

Oversee day-to-day running of the plant alongside the Operations Manager
Generate monthly reports showing statistical data for the senior leadership team on manufacturing performance
Ensure that the production plan is achieved and identify where bottlenecks or delays occur
Optimise production performance by analysing processes alongside wider support teams and devising suggestions on process improvement
Manage the production supervisors' day-to-day activities and provide support to indirect reports
Provide guidance and assistance on Production related queries
Ensure health and safety guidelines are spearheaded and adhered to
Challenge and promote a continuous improvement environment
Review SOPs and guidance procedures to ensure they remain current
Ensure that Quality occurrences are reviewed in a timely manner and corrective and preventative actions are implemented
Additional duties not yet listed above at the discretion of the Operations Manager or Directors.
