What Your Role Will Look Like:

As a CPN in this environment, you'll provide vital mental health care to inmates, helping them manage their well-being through proactive support and intervention.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Initial Assessments: Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify mental health needs and risks for new inmates.
Therapeutic Interventions: Lead individual and group therapy sessions, offering tailored support to inmates.
Medication Management: Administer and monitor prescribed medications, ensuring adherence to treatment plans.
Crisis Intervention: Respond swiftly to mental health crises, using de-escalation techniques to maintain safety.
Collaboration: Work closely with prison staff and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.

What We're Looking For:

NMC Registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
Experience in mental health care, particularly in high-pressure or challenging settings.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A team player with the confidence to work independently.
