We are a well-respected secondary school in East Grinstead, known for our commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of our students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom and during other school activities.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering individualized learning plans.
  • Support students in developing social skills and managing behavior.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Help prepare learning materials and resources.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with secondary school students, particularly those with SEN, is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students.
