Job Title: Goods-In Operative

We are looking for a Goods-In Operative to join a manufacturing business specializing in mechanical components. This role involves receiving and managing goods, and ensuring the warehouse is maintained to high standards.

Responsibilities:

Receive and offload inbound deliveries, verifying paperwork for accurate processing.
Assist the Quality team with inspections as needed.
Accurately label and store goods in designated locations using handheld scanners.
Use handheld scanners to complete transfers and maintain system accuracy.
Conduct daily forklift (FLT) inspections.
Assist with stocktakes as required.
Contribute to lean initiatives to improve efficiency within your area.
Ideal Candidate:

Proficient in using modern handheld scanners
Strong ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
High attention to detail
Proactive, self-driven, and continuously seeking improvement opportunities
Working knowledge of IT systems
A forklift license is essential
